I love the fit and how flattering the cut is. It almost feels like it was tailored for me! I took an xl as I am a size 14 however I am short but yet it fits great. The only downside is the hooks on the crotch are sewn in a way that the edges are really hard so it somewhat felt that I was poked and uncomfortable to the extent that I had to just wear it undone, just wished this part was sewn in a different way so that it would feel more comfortable.

This was my first modes swimsuit and I adore it! This one got me hooked to Lyra. It’s so classy and comfortable at the same time! I was between size M and L and decided to go for a L. It looked the perfect size, and the fabric has a gentle stretch that allowed me to wear it throughout the second trimester of my pregnancy as well.

I had go up two sizes after reading the sizing chart but I'm happy I did. It fits perfect and makes me feel good and comfortable in a burkini. It's also slimming. Definitely recommend.

COLOUR: The swimsuit itself is a lovely, elegant colour - photographed both indoors and in natural lighting. The design is true to the pictures, although I will add an extra stitch to the centre front of the skirt to help it drape across my stomach more, because the weight of the gold ring causes the draping to hang low, cradling the curve of my lower belly (ladies IYKYK, lol!) SIZING: The one star knocked off is because I would also recommend sizing up *at least* one size higher than the given Lyra size chart, depending on your body type and modesty preferences. I'm a UK12-14 (10-12 up top, but 12-14 below) but bought a szXL and it fits well. PROPORTIONS: I'm average to slightly short-waisted and the seams are in the right place, although the skirt does sit a little lower than my natural waist (because of the ring placement mentioned above). The leggings hit at my ankles (or can be scrunched above) but I'm just under 5ft4. The turban does stretch to accommodate my 23" head circumference but is a little tight for long wear. So just things to be aware of if you're taller/ less pear shaped than I am &/ or with a bigger noggin lol. RESULTS: All in all, a lovely swimsuit (depending on what suits you) - thank you Lyra for the quick shipping and for having some good sales lately!
